First-party case study: the founder's studio, built by Velour Web

CHIC Flowers: from a five-page portfolio to more than 150 pages that rank and get quoted

CHIC Flowers is a luxury wedding florist in San Diego and Los Angeles, featured in Vogue, Brides and Haute Living, and the studio of Fiory's founder. Its site went from a five-page portfolio that ranked only for its own name to more than 150 pages: 40 venue pages, 25 cultural and regional pages, 19 ceremony pages, 22 location pages, cost guides and a glossary, each written to rank on Google and to be quoted by AI assistants. Velour Web built it; Fiory Growth delivers the same system to one florist per metro.

The starting point: beautiful, and invisible

The original chicflowers.com was what most luxury florist sites are: five pages, large photographs, almost no text. It ranked for "CHIC Flowers" and nothing else. A couple searching "wedding florist Rancho Valencia" or "Persian wedding flowers Los Angeles" found The Knot, WeddingWire and a planner's blog, never the florist who had designed a dozen weddings at that venue. The marketplace listings brought inquiries, shared with every florist in the list, and most of those couples were comparing on price.

The business also wanted to sell its expertise, with an online floristry course and workshops, and to let the owner manage galleries herself. All of that is on the site today, but the lead engine is the part this page is about, because it is the part Fiory Growth delivers.

What was built: a page for every search a couple types

Velour Web built a data-driven page system rather than a set of hand-made pages: services, locations, venues, styles and cultural wedding clusters, each page with answer-first copy, FAQs with speakable schema, Place and Service structured data, galleries, and internal links that an automated audit checks. Pages shipped as noindex until their content and photos were complete, then were promoted. The result, by page type:

CHIC Flowers pages by type
Page typeCountThe search it answers
Venue pages40wedding florist [venue], wedding flowers at [venue]
Cultural and regional wedding pages25Indian, Armenian, Jewish, Persian, Arab and luxury weddings, by city
Ceremony pages19mandap, chuppah, sofreh, arch and aisle flowers
Location pages22wedding florist [city] across San Diego and Los Angeles
Cost and logistics guides, glossarythe resthow much are wedding flowers, delivery and setup, terms couples search

Every page emits full structured data (BreadcrumbList, FAQPage with speakable, Place, Service or Product), passes an internal-link audit, and records the page each inquiry came from, so the owner sees which venue or tradition page produced each lead. That last part is what Fiory does natively for Growth clients: the inquiry lands in the CRM with the page attached.

What a florist can take from it

  • Venues first. The venue pages were the cheapest to rank and the highest intent; nobody else writes about the install rules at a specific venue.
  • Traditions are a moat. Cultural wedding pages answer questions marketplaces cannot, and they are the pages AI assistants quote for "who does Indian weddings in [city]".
  • Structure beats volume. Forty venue pages with the same honest sections outrank four hundred thin city pages, and Google can tell which is which.
  • Record the source. Knowing which page produced each inquiry is what turns SEO from a hope into a budget line, and it is how Growth decides when to bill.
  • Keep the marketplace reviews. The listings were never cancelled on principle; the lead report decides what each channel is worth.

The same system, one florist per metro

Fiory Growth is this page system delivered into a florist's Fiory website, by the people who built it, at one to four pages a month by plan, with the Business Profile routine and AI search tracking alongside. Because it is one florist per metro, San Diego and Los Angeles are taken; every other metro is first come, first served. From $549 a month, billed only after your qualified inquiries grow by 3 over your own baseline, and nothing owed if they have not by day 180. One wedding florist per metro.

Questions about this case study

Both, and we say so. CHIC Flowers is the studio of Fiory's founder and a Velour Web client under the same agreement every Growth client signs. That is why it is the proof we can show in full, with the page counts and the structure, and why San Diego and Los Angeles are taken on the availability list.

The page system was built first, then pages were written in clusters over months: venues, then cultural and regional weddings, then ceremonies and locations, with tiered indexation so a page shipped as noindex until its content and images were complete. Growth follows the same order at one to four pages a month by plan, venues first.

No two metros or studios are the same, and we do not forecast inquiries. What is the same is the system: the four page types, the structured data, the Business Profile routine and the AI tracking, delivered into your Fiory website. Your monthly lead report shows what the pages produce, and billing starts only when your inquiries have grown.

Yes, chicflowers.com is live. Open any venue page and you will see the structure the venue-page guide describes: answer-first paragraph, the spaces, the rules, real weddings, FAQs and nearby venues.

From $549 a month, billed only after your qualified inquiries grow by 3 over your own baseline, and nothing owed if they have not by day 180. One wedding florist per metro. Plans run from Local at $549 to County at $2,000, by cities covered.
